Breeches
Breeches are protective trousers which go down to just below the knee. The bottom of the leg is elasticated. When you are starting, a pair of tracksuit trousers are okay but if you want to fence electric later on, you will need to purchase a pair of breeches. Knee length socks must be worn with breeches. For normal fencing breeches should offer a minimum of 350N protection.
